When the Enemy Shows Up, So Does Jesus: Praying with Authority Over Your Home
There was a night I will never forget. It was not a dream; it was an encounter.
I was sleeping beside my husband when I suddenly became aware of something deeply unsettling. In the spirit, I saw two demonic figures…one was sitting on my husband, and the other was standing behind me. I knew they were there either to intimidate me out of praying for him or because they were already assigned to destroy him.
But here’s the truth: I was not afraid.
I knew the authority I carried as a woman of God.
I called on the name Jesus with power, and I rebuked every unclean thing in that room. And I knew it really happened, because my husband later told me he heard me calling out to Jesus.
What struck me most was that I could not wake him in that moment. Spiritually, it was symbolic: he was asleep not only in the natural, but in the spirit. God showed me clearly: I had to keep interceding for his salvation, and I had to keep praying with authority, no matter what the enemy tried.

God is calling us as wives, mothers, and leaders to rise up in spiritual boldness. You cannot afford to be timid. The enemy responds to authority, not emotion.
If there is unforgiveness in your heart or if you are living in disobedience, those are open doors the enemy uses to legally operate. You must first repent, forgive, and align yourself with God’s Word, and then you can take your place on the battlefield.
